When did you first think of yourself as an artist?

Right now, when I was asked this question.

Who helped you develop your voice as an artist?

My friend and forever comedy partner Mae Martin. I came up doing comedy with her in Toronto and she was already so experienced when we started performing together. It was like having a big sister to guide you through the trials and tribulations of the Toronto comedy scene. Check out her Netflix special!

What’s something that’s inspired you this week?

I read a news article that said three quarters of Toronto police officers live outside the communities they police. I was like WHAT??? That's great fuel for comedy and conversation.

What’s your favourite restaurant in the city to visit?

You have to try the veggie miso ramen at Ramen Raijin.

What do you want to see more of on Toronto stages?

More pyrotechnics.
