The incomparable Peggy Baker’s latest creation is an exploration and explosion of female motive, mystique, and physicality, arising in response to a radical new translation of Simone du Beauvoir’s landmark work, The Second Sex. Outstanding dancers Sze-Yang Ade-Lam, Nicole Rose Bond, Aria Evans, Kate Holden, and Margarita Soria will bring the strange, unsettling and dangerous world of her body as words to life, with a commissioned score from Toronto-based innovators Anne Bourne and Fides Krucker.

Her choreographic adventures have been risk-taking, imaginative and intellectually rigorous… She is an exemplar of artistic integrity and the pursuit of truth through art.

- Michael Crabb, Dance Critic, Toronto Star
