'A Hidden Princess ' is a Kathak Dance exploration of the enigmatic 17th-century Mughal princess Jahanara Begum. Combining music, poetry and images that evoke the era of the Taj Mahal, Bageshree Vaze weaves a tapestry of dance language to bring to life a lesser-known creative spirit whose persona and architecture have helped shape India's culture and history (including the design of Delhi's Chandni Chowk area). Also featuring live music by Tabla virtuoso Vineet Vyas and Sitarist Rajib Karmakar.

Here was spot-on archery without preparation, striking effortlessly home.

Vaze is a brilliant and expressive dancer with a crisp, highly articulated attack.
