Welcome to Rome. Join us this summer to see Portia’s Julius Caesar, a radical adaption of Shakespeare’s beloved classic. Explore a Rome that you’ve never seen before…and meet some re-imagined characters who have been itching to have their voices heard. Find us between the trees, in the middle of the park. Bring a blanket & a picnic and enjoy a night under the stars. Families are welcome, though please note this performance includes mature subject matter. All tickets are PWYC.

"When it comes to Toronto's outdoor summer Shakespeare game, the Ruffians are hard to beat, and Midsummer only bolsters their status as an enduring summer tradition."

- Jordan Bimm, NOW Magazine, August 24, 2017

"It's Shakespeare in the Ruff, our city's most constantly engaging outdoor theatre company."
