Playwright(s): Samuel Beckett
On his birthday Krapp enters into a dark room and sits quietly. After some time he listens to tapes on a reel-to-reel recorder. The tapes document stories from his past that he is forced to review. Krapp’s Last Tape highlights the best of Beckett, showcasing his signature blend of dark humor and existential musing. Performed by iconic Canadian actor Bob Nasmith - a man who has performed at our theatre for decades - the show is a stark examination of life compared to living.
Bob Naismith is a theatre warrior and a legend. I will go, eagerly, to watch entropy in action. To discover and to think. And to witness the world as it falls apart.
