Situational Anarchy

May 24 - June 3, 2017

Pressgang & Pandemic Theatre

Playwright(s): Graham Isador

directed by:
Tom Arthur Davis, Jivesh Parasram

featuring:
Graham Isador

For the past 13 years Graham Isador has been in an on again/off again relationship with punk rock star Laura Jane Grace. Too bad she doesn’t know he exists. Chronicling his teenage years spent in the Niagara punk scene, Isador shares stories of his time carving out a rebellious adolescent identity on internet message boards, in strip mall record stores, and at concerts in basements and backrooms.

Filled with rage and vulnerability, Situational Anarchy is a stirring ode to that time when we cared about something so much it’s a wonder we survived the enormity of our care.

- Kelly Bedard, My Theatre World

NNNN. You don’t have to know anything about punk to get a lot out of his storytelling.
