Toronto Dance Theatre
Choreographer(s): Christopher House
TDT's CHIASMATA returns to the stage, presented at the Winchester Street Theatre Mar 30 - Apr 2 & April 5-8, 2017.
CHIASMATA is "a cacophony of dance that plays out as if on a charged magnetic field" (THE VANCOUVER SUN). Choreographer Christopher House melded improvisation with video playback to refine an eccentric movement vocabulary for the work in 2007, inspired by a looping electronic score by Phil Strong. A cast of new & original performers invigorates the remount with playful kineticism.
